Hi, I’m Florian

I’m Florian Jäger, a freelance photographer and filmmaker based in Düsseldorf, Germany. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Photography and a Master of Arts in Photographic Studies from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund, which I completed in August 2023.

Since starting my freelance career in October 2017, I’ve specialized in fashion, portrait, and corporate photography. My work is often described as minimalist—focused on capturing subjects with clarity, depth, and a strong sense of artistry.

In 2024, I joined Publicis Groupe, one of the world’s leading communications and marketing agencies, as a content creator for photography and film. Within this role, I produce commercial content for major brands such as Subway, Nestlé, AXA, REWE, Zooroyal, Mondelez/Oreo, and many others. In addition to content production, I’m also actively involved in building up an in-house photo and film production team within the group—an ambitious and highly creative unit that operates across Germany.

One of the most defining experiences in my career was a solo journey from Germany to the south of France on a Vespa. It was more than just a road trip—it was a creative and personal mission that reflected my dedication to storytelling.

During my time in Arles, France, I developed a unique project called La Route des Parfums. This work explores the world of perfume making—from raw ingredients to final bottling. Through photography and film, I aimed to express the craftsmanship, beauty, and complexity behind this centuries-old tradition.

My academic background and on-the-ground experience continue to shape how I see and create. I’m passionate about using visual storytelling to cross boundaries, spark emotion, and reflect the world in meaningful, artistic ways.
